Caroline
Branch Owner
Caroline has been involved in art and teaching for years, and especially enjoys working with adults. She likes quick sketches, fast creative ideas and that moment when people start talking to each other. She’s not an art purist — for her it’s all about connection, confidence, and giving things a go without needing to be perfect.
Favourite things: sea swimming, dark chocolate, speaking French and Spanish, quick journeys (in art and in life), and recycling.

Aileen
Tutor
Aileen holds a BA in Fine Art and has a love for conceptual art and mixed media. Creativity has been part of her life from an early age, with studies in Fashion & Design, Window Dressing, Life Drawing and Garden Design, alongside a colourful mix of other jobs. In recent years she has enjoyed volunteering with a pensioners’ art group and working as an adult art tutor — sharing her skills and enthusiasm and making art fun and accessible for all.
Favourite things: travelling, old friends, Alfred Hitchcock, elephants, funky music, pistachios and coffee.

Are you an artist who would like to spend some of your time sharing your knowledge and skills with others? You could join our team of freelance tutors, teaching on our courses and creating interesting projects for our students to do.
Perhaps you’re a school teacher or home-schooler who would like to experience the joy of teaching adults occasionally! You could be a guest tutor at our workshops or art evenings.
